Refund Policy

At Kuhayo, we strive to provide the best service and ensure customer satisfaction. Our refund policy is designed to address various scenarios, such as order cancellations, product unavailability, and other issues. Please read the following policy details carefully.

Refunds will be credited to your Kuhayo account and can be automatically applied to your future orders. If preferred, you may also request to have the refund transferred to your GCash account. Alternatively, you can visit our physical office to receive a cash refund.

Order Cancellation

Cancellation Before Processing

For Online Payments

If you cancel your order before it is processed, a refund will be issued to your Kuhayo account, minus the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR). The MDR, typically around 3%, is a fee paid to the online payment gateway provider and cannot be recovered by Kuhayo once a transaction is made.

For Cash Payments

If you cancel your order before it is processed, you will receive a full refund. The refund amount will be credited to your Kuhayo account, which can be used for future orders.

Cancellation After Processed

If you cancel your order after it has been processed but before delivery, no refund will be issued, as the food has already been ordered from the restaurant. You will need to accept the items.

Product Unavailability

Unavailable Products

If a product you ordered is unavailable, you can choose to either remove just the product from your order or remove the entire restaurant. The amount for any unavailable items will be credited to your Kuhayo account and can be automatically applied to your next purchase.

You may also request to have the refund transferred to your GCash account or visit our physical office to receive a cash refund.

Refund Processing

Account Credits

All refunds will be issued as credits to your Kuhayo account. These credits can be used for future orders and will be automatically applied during checkout.

Processing Time

The processing time for refund credits depends on the type of issue:

  • Refunds for order cancellations are processed instantly by our system. The amount will be calculated and automatically credited to your Kuhayo account.
  • If a product is unavailable, the refund will be processed within 1-3 business days after the issue has been confirmed.

Changes to This Policy

Kuhayo reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page, and it is your responsibility to review the policy periodically.
